Business Plan:
CHM begins by creating a business plan
for each hotel. This is the property’s
strategy for success. It includes a
realistic operating budget, capital
improvement budget, and sales and
marketing plan.
Operations:
CHM establishes and carefully monitors
meaningful cost controls. Rates are
structured, checked daily by our Revenue
Manager, and changed as market
conditions warrant. Rate maximization
via yield management is an integral part
of the operations strategy. Payroll is
analyzed daily, energy costs controlled,
preventative maintenance programs
established, and standards manuals are
utilized by property management.
Sales &
Marketing:
CHM places special emphasis on a strong
and effective sales & marketing team. We
work with managers to improve their
relationship with their sales team. We
also assess sales techniques and
training to ensure the sales staff can
handle difficult markets and close
sales. Marketing dollars are carefully
allocated and accurate market segment
tracking is reviewed to assure wise
investments. Sales and Marketing also
handles all advertising, including
direct mail, print media, radio and
billboards.
Accounting:
CHM stresses accurate results delivered
on a timely basis. We prepare monthly
and rolling twelve reports for our
clients that analyze past and present
performance. The monthly financial
statements include balance sheets, cash
statements, and income statements. Our
VP of Accounting will take the time
needed each month to explain how your
hotel is doing.
Personnel:
A hotel’s manager is vital to its
success. CHM takes pride in being able
to find and keep talented, competent
managers. This reduces employee turnover
and training costs. Most importantly,
